Donna Mazurek

Non-Profit Founder/Angel Mom - Paige's Promise 2015

This is the Readers Digest version! "Donna Mazurek, of Michigan, lost her daughter Paige five years after she got addicted to opioids following a tooth extraction surgery aged just 17.
Paige Mazurek, 22, was given a pain medication prescription by her dentist, which the Mazurek claims spearheaded the battle that took her daughter's life."
I became an advocate after the loss of my daughter Paige from a fentanyl laced heroin overdose that started in 2010 from oxycodone for a tooth extraction!
I fight for awareness, education and recovery for the disease of substance use disorder! I fight for change and help anyone seeking recovery. Our 501(c)3 Paige’s Promise 2015 now offers a scholarship yearly thru bold.org, we give ten bags a month to different organizations to help the addicted, plus this year Michigan Dept. of Health and Human Services for Newaygo County has requested 300 bags for people being released from incarceration and are homeless due to substance use, we help grieving parents and parents that are trying to keep their children alive. I was a founder for Rooting for Recovery and Global Recovery Movement plan to present plaques to people that are working very hard in our communities."
