Hey everyone. My name is Jenn and I am an addict/alcoholic. For 20 years, that was something I always knew. I also knew that there was no hope for me. That I would live, and die, an addict. Thats what the disease does. Makes us hopeless, broken, and in my case practically suicidal. What I didn’t know, is that the universe had much bigger plans for me than I had for myself. I was placed in a court mandated program, which included a minimum of 2 years of sobriety to graduate. I decided if I HAD to be sober to succeed, I might as well give it everything I have. I started attending 12 step groups, got a sponsor, did the steps, started sponsoring and taking on service positions. My life has completely transformed in a way I never thought possible! I am 4.5 years in recovery. My life is INFINITELY better, and even on my worst days, picking up isn’t even a thought for me today. I learned so much about my disease and how to overcome the obsession in the 12 steps, that I found a passion for sharing the information with others. My recovery podcast “I Don’t Know Yet” is my way of giving back. Sharing the information and experiences of myself and my guests, in hopes others can relate or use to help them grow. There IS a solution. Recovery IS possible. And it’s BEAUTIFUL
