Joe is the father of Harland Fourre, who passed as a result of a tragic fentanyl poisoning. Harland was not a regular user of substances and had purchased what he and his friends believed to be ecstasy while at a pub. All four of the young men were unconscience before they left the bathroom. Three of the men were revived, but after a time of medical staff trying to save his life, Joseph and his family made the decision to let Harland go.
Joseph shared his story with us the week between his son's final breath and his service. The following day, he came back on to share his own journey from suffering in addiction for most of his life to getting sober with the help of his son, just four years before the tragic events above.
